Joe Adair

An Albuquerque, New Mexico-based Graphic Designer specializing in political communication.

Current projects include wilderness protection throughout New Mexico, including Otero Mesa and the Doña Ana Wilderness. He is also in charge of design communications for the 2010 gubernatorial campaign of Albuquerque mayor, Martin D. Chávez. Major clients include the New Mexico Wilderness Alliance, Victory Group, Conservation Voters New Mexico, New Mexico Wildlife Federation, League of Conservation Voters and the Natural Resources Defense Council

In the 2006 Elections, his candidates had a 100% success rate. He also had a major victory in the South Carolina State Retirement Funds initiative, turning a 32-point deficit into a 30-point victory. He also was proud to design promotional materials for Democratic Presidential candidate Bill Richardson that succeeded in raising nearly $500,000 towards his victorious 2006 gubernatorial election.

Joe also (gleefully) helped contribute a small part in the defeat of Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum, and California Congressman Richard Pombo, through some widespread, biting, pro-environmental pieces for the League of Conservation Voters.

He was very disappointed to lose the battle for his favorite project, Albuquerque's Quality of Life Campaign -by a large margin. Joe will be scratching his head through 2008 over that one.

Joe has been (and always will be) a surfer, jewelry designer, construction project manager, project analyst, Computer Consultant to the Stars, Acid Jazz record producer, the world's first BBB-approved web business owner, graphic designer, outspoken wilderness-protection advocate and politico. Joe's latest obsession is photography.
