Joe Dawg 9 was born on June 1, 1988, in Mississauga, Ontario. He grew up in Woodstock, attending Algonquin Public School (sigh) and Huron Park Secondary School.

He is currently studying Software Engineering at the University of Waterloo. He has completed co-op terms at Research In Motion in Waterloo and Bloomberg LP in New York City.

His spare time is usually spent online, frequenting sites such as YouTube and Yahoo! Answers. He is also an avid fan of the Got Talent series of shows, particularly Britain and America. He is waiting for a Canadian version of the show to be launched, so that he can become an audience member and boo everyone off the stage.
