[edit] This is Joe, on leave
I'm taking a break from the Wiki-thing. I'll continue to use the site as much as I normally do, but I won't be able to do as much vandal-hunting work as I did a few months ago; I'm buckling down for the summer and preparing my new software packages for release in the fall. I have a lot of work to do, with localhost and Upward Bound and generally rediscovering my self and trying to get over the fact that this was a shitty year in general, and unfortunately have no time for that which I love so much. Many apologies. Love you.
This is also interesting...I really don't have much of anything to say about myself right here and right now.
I'm a member of the WikiProject LGBT studies group, and I'm on here to help further the amount of knowledge that Wikipedia can provide about Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender people. I'm also a member of the Counter Vandalism Unit and the Typo team, so vandalism and spam and grammatical errors flee before my mouse.
I principally work by trawling through articles and fixing small mistakes I see. I've installed the Lupin Anti-Vandalism tool, and I'll be manning my front from there, so my contributions will no longer show up on my...contributions page. For some reason. Oh well, I'm fine with being an anonymous soldier in the war against stupidity. Nevermind, fixed it. Now my stuff will show up here.
[edit] About Me
I am a gay, teen-aged blogger with a lot of free time, so I spend it here, making Wikipedia a better place to live and learn. I'm a graphic designer, photographer, experimental darkroom chemist and modern artist (new-media style) and I love to work in Photoshop, Inkscape and the GIMP. I'm a huge fan of fine art photography; Meredith Heuer is the greatest. I work principally in both grunge graphic arts and HTM[inima]L web design. They might seem like clashing elements, but I pull it together. Usually.
I am a self-identifying Grammer Nazi. I have acquired a total understanding of the King's English; I did so in third grade. Why that everyone else can't is well is beyond me. I think that if you don't know the difference between their/they're/there you need to go back to school. Now!
[edit] And Others...
I'm obsessed with these little UserBox things. I'm going to add all that I can, and probably piss off and annoy a few people for having six hundred of them up there. Check out the lists, at the top of the page (I've hidden them in collapsible menus, for your convenience.)
I don't have a custom signature, because I neither have the desire nor the capacity to create one. I have a copy of MediaWiki running on my server at home, so I really have no excuse for not knowing how to do that; but I really don't feel like changing it. I'm HTM[inima]L and an Exopedian anyway.
