[edit] when born?

Anybody know this guy's birthday? I can only find indirect references to the year in The Omnivores Dilemma (no bio info appears in either You Can Farm or Holy Cows...). Which leads me to gues he was born in 1957. But it'd be great to get some real info on it. --CKL

More than half of this article is a quote from a book. Might that be a copyright violation? At the very least, it makes for bad style. The article is dire need of more referenced information if credibility is to be established.--JustJimDandy 17:56, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
