Was it a man or woman who left Pettersson to go to America? FYI, "fiancé" means a man and "fiancée" means a woman. I almost added the -e ending there but in the very next sentence I read that Pettersson was suspected to be a bisexual, so I'm not sure. Could someone verify this?
