I think this profile needs to be modified to reflect the important contributions Rogers made to the idea that Jesus Christ was of African descent. Because so many prominent scholars on the subject credit arguments to Rogers and because he is regarded by many to be one of the first people to theorize Jesus was black, I think this important part of Rogers' life needs to be documented somewhere on this page.

"Jesus Christ was of African descent" - first off, it would not seem that this was a "defining" point in his career. Second off, what do you mean by "African descent"? Please, do you mean Ethiopeans? Zulu? Egyptian? Libyan? Berber? Boer? White Rhodesian? Please, do not automatically assume that "Africa equals black". Chaoticar (talk) 06:53, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
