[edit] Merge Discussion

Ok, even if we disrguard the fact the every individual in the Griffin family has their own page(Peter Griffin, Lois Griffin, Megan Griffin, Chris Griffin, Stewie Griffin, Brian Griffin, ), if Glen Quagmire, Mort Goldman, Loretta Brown, Cleveland Brown then so should Joe Swanson, and his article should definalty not be merged. But i can see the argument for it being expanded and cleaned up, make it into a stub.--B0sh 12:23, 20 August 2005 (UTC) ben was here

There's plenty to say about Joe Swanson, but there isn't much to say about Bonnie or Kevin. The writers have chosen not to take Bonnie's pregnancy to its natural conclusion. Kevin has some psychological issues with how much like his father he wants to be, but the writers haven't delved into this. Cromulent Kwyjibo 18:25, 24 August 2005 (UTC)
cheers for the support, Keep fighting the fight --B0sh 21:43, 24 August 2005 (UTC)

Duh, separate articles with pointers eliminate all the duplicate data while still leaving plenty of space for Joe, Bonnie, and Kevin to do their freaky thing.

PLEASE don't put more than one kind of information into one article. Joe is enough by himself. Maybe a "miscellaneous" page for Bonnie, Kevin and the family dynamics? If the Swanson family doesn't have enough material for their own page, don't penalize Joe.

[edit] Financial Advisor

We should obviously take out the financial advisor.

[edit] A whole bucket of suggestions

Wasn't there an incident where Joe breaks his legs even more while falling off a lampost? I dimly remember the group laughing because, to them, it doesn't matter if paralyzed legs are broken even more.

And the reference to 'Da Boom'. Is it really relevant? Even in the loose continuity of 'Family Guy', this episode never ever actually happens, it's all a dream.

Furthermore, I think it's relevant that Joe will hunt down his friends if he thinks they committed crimes, he once chased the Griffins with an attack helicopter.

I'm wondering if it's noteable to point out Joe willingly participates in an attempt at a gay orgy. Lots42 12:04, 2 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Disabillity section

First off, I removed the redunancy of telling us again and again Joe has a spinal injury. And I changed some of the obviousness; also it's pretty obvious the 'I got new legs from a paraplegic' thing was done for the humour and the status quo and not for the logic. [edit] Family

Why don't his wife and kid(s) show up in the info box? It is relevant information. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.226.221.176 (talk) 01:42, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
