What is Joe's ethnicity ? Some claim his name is originally Jewish, while others claim he is from Gypsy background of Tampa's long established carnival-circus community.

Joe is German Italian, his mother was from Italy, his father is german, I am not sure which part of Germany

It is said he was disowned by his family, and that he refuses to even consider to allow his granddaughter to ever dance in his clubs, causing many to consider him just a bit hypocritical. - What's good for your daughter is out of the question for his.

Absolutely not true. One of his daughters lives with him to this day. The rest of his family loves him very much. Not a single one of his family has "disowned" him. If his granddaughter wanted to dance for a living he would let her, just not at his club. Thats not hypocritical.
