Talk:Joe Murphy (podcaster)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Since many of the shows where Joe participated are listed in Wikipedia, I think is appropiate for him to have his own page.
I'm not affiliated with Joe or his shows, other than as a fan and regular listener.
I'm trying to gather enough biographical information to make the page longer, and I'm sure that other people will provide more data soon. I'm sure that a full bio will demonstrate the page deserves a Wikipedia entry (this is my first page, so I'm not really sure how to "assert the notability" of the subject
- It's obvious why the idea to create this page came up just now, but that doesn't make it any less relevant. I can see why people who are not familiar with the podcasting phenomenon that is Farpoint Media would question the relevance of this article, but I definitely think he deserves his own page; Evo Terra and Michael R. Mennenga already have theirs. I oppose the speedy deletion and will try to contribute with more information presently. --dllu 22:26, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
- I cleaned up some of the POV stuff. I urge the original author to come up with some source references too to wikify the article. --dllu 22:42, 3 April 2007 (UTC)

- Ok, the deletion box clearly says:
- If this page does not meet the criteria for speedy deletion, or you intend to fix it, please remove this notice, but do not remove this notice from pages that you have created yourself
- Obviously I did not create the page myself, and as stated I don't think it meets the criteria, so I removed the box and have removed it again. --dllu 23:00, 3 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] References
If anyone feels that this is insufficiently referenced, add the "cn" tag wherever more references are deemed necessary. A blanket unreferenced tag is not appropriate for this article at this point. --Kukini hablame aqui 20:20, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Joe at the Circus
I know that Joe did work with a circus, but I'm assuming that it wasn't as a midget as was listed in the infobox. Could someone with more details put a couple of sentences in the main article describing what he did, and possibly update the info box if appropriate? Thanks! - Fordan 15:44, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
