The creation of the Joe Knox page is to signify the importance of his contribution to the town of Mooresville, North Carolina and surrounding areas through his 30 year term as mayor, which should be notable to the history of Mooresville should anyone expand on it. Joe Knox also has two brothers who were mayors of Charlotte, North Carolina and Davidson, North Carolina for significant periods of time. The Knox families history of public service and their contribution to the history of these North Carolina cities should be preserved and provide others the opportunity to expand on them (Spmarshncsu (talk) 04:50, 10 January 2008 (UTC)).
