[edit] Robot Jox

I've heard Joe say that he wasn't entirely happy with Robot Jox, but I don't think I ever heard him state he wanted his name removed from it; he's never been reluctant to talk about it, nor to acknowledge his work on it-- if there's a source for this, feel free to revert my edit and quote the source. [edit] 'not Joseph'

Unless his name is really "Joe (not Joseph) William Haldeman" I propose removing the parenthetical statement from the lead sentence. The "not Joseph" should either go in a sentence of its own (such as "His full first name is Joe, not Joseph, just as his brother's is Jack, not John"), or, if that seems too loquacious/trivial, it should be placed in an internal comment to editors.--NapoliRoma 05:07, 3 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Parents Occupation

The moves his family made when he was a child could indicate a military family. Was he a "military brat" or was there some other reason for the moves? ("Military brat" is a term of affection in the military world, not derrogatory).
