[edit] Good article!
Good job folks. This passed nomination for meeting the good article criteria well. The only thing I would warn is that the headings need to be put in the correct order according to the manual of style. Try to fix that before this can be considered for FAC.--Esprit15d 20:53, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Age/Sinclair ZX81 discrepancy
No idea if anyone reads this. Great article, but I have to question one point:
"Beevers's father taught him how to work out permutations and probabilities on a Sinclair ZX81 computer when he was 7"
But if: "born 9 December 1967 "
Then he'd have been 13 when the ZX81 was released in 1981...
Anyway, hope that helps!
- If the Sinclair ZX81 article is correct in that the release date is 1981, then this article is incorrect:
- Beevers's father taught him how to work out permutations and probabilities on a Sinclair ZX81 computer when he was 7, and later taught him how to count cards in blackjack from age 10.
- I have reworded the text so that his age is not reflected in the reference to the Sinclair computer. If anyone can correct it further then please do so. ♣♦ SmartGuy ♥♠ 15:45, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Joebeevers.jpg
Image:Joebeevers.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
