Joey Malone was an Irish soccer player during the 1970s and 1980s.
A dynamic midfielder, he made his league debut with Bohemians in 1976/77 and won a league title with them in 1977/78. He made 1 appearance in European competition for Bohs. He has also played for St Patricks Athletic, Dundalk (captaining them to the "Double" in 1987/88), Home Farm, Athlone Town and Longford Town during his career in the League of Ireland. As player-manager, he led Galway United to triumph in the 1991 FAI Cup Final with a 1-0 win over Shamrock Rovers.
