Joel de la Fuente (born April 21, 1969) is an Asian American actor. Joel's most noted appearances to date were as 1st Lieutenant Paul Wang in 1995's Space: Above and Beyond and recurring appearances on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit as TARU Tech Ruben Morales.
Born in New Hartford, New York, but was raised in Evanston, Illinois, and graduated from the North Shore Country Day School in Winnetka, Illinois, in 1987. Then Joel went Brown University were he received his Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts in 1991.
