Joel Keller

Joel Keller is a Bay Area Rapid Transit District BART Board of Directors member from district 2; he has been so since his 1994 election. He has served as both President and Vicepresident of the board. He has also twice been mayor of Antioch, California a city of over 100,000 residents. His district covers the following communities: Antioch, Bay Point, Bethel Island, Brentwood, Byron, Clyde, Crockett, Discovery Bay, Hercules, Knightsen, Martinez, Oakley, Pinole, Pittsburg, Port Costa, Rodeo and parts of El Sobrante, Pacheco, and Pleasant Hill. He was previously a member Capitol Corridor Joint Powers Board. He is also a committeemember of the Metropolitan Transportation Commission AB842 and the Regional Rail and the Route 24/Caldecott Tunnel Corridor Policy Committee. He is vice chairperson for the Warm Springs Policy Committee. He is an alternate representative for the Silicon Valley Rapid Transit Project Policy Advisory Board. He also as a liaison for the Contra Costa Transportation Authority Committee, the Route 4 (East) Corridor Study Policy Advisory Committee, the Strategic Finance Advisory Committee, the Santa Clara County Policy Committee and the West Contra Costa Transportation Advisory Committee. He lives in Antioch, California.[1]
