Joel Frost

Joel Frost (unknown - September 11, 1827) was a United States Representative from New York.
Frost was born in Westchester County, New York, Frost attended the public schools. He served as member of the Westchester County Board of Supervisors, 1803. He served as member of the State assembly from 1806 to 1808. First surrogate of Putnam County in 1812, and served in 1813 from 1815 to 1819, 1821, and 1822. He served as member of the State constitutional convention, 1821. He served as judge, Court of Common Pleas. He moved to Schenectady, New York.
Frost was elected as a Crawford Democratic-Republican to the 18th United States Congress (March 4, 1823 - March 3, 1825). He died on September 11, 1827 and is interred in Gilead Cemetery at Carmel, New York.
