Joel Filani (born on December 8, 1983 in Tempe, Arizona) is a wide receiver for the Seattle Seahawks.[2] He was drafted by the Tennessee Titans in the sixth round (188th pick overall) of the 2007 NFL Draft. After being released by the Titans, Filani signed with the Vikings.[3] Collegiately, Filani was a wide receiver for the Texas Tech Red Raiders.[4]

Joel Filani attended Paradise Valley High School in Phoenix, Arizona and was a student and a letterman in football. In football, he was named to the All-Arizona first-team as a senior. In addition to Texas Tech, Filani was recruited by Washington State and Colorado State.[5]
