Joseph Earl "Joe" Thomas (born March 25, 1963 in Lafayette, Louisiana) is a former American football player. He played for the New Orleans Saints as a wide receiver. He collegiatly played for Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils in the NCAA.}} Was drafted by the Denver Broncos and was traded to the New Orleans Saints. He played along side Jerry Rice and the two share records in the NCAA Record Book. He is tenth all time on the record book for receiving touchdowns in 1985 and is thirteen all time for career touchdowns.
