Joe Thomas (actor)

Joe Thomas is an English actor who stars in the new E4's comedy The Inbetweeners as Simon Cooper.^[1]

Joe Thomas attended King Edward VI Grammar School in Chelmsford and grew up in the neighbouring village of Writtle. He is the eldest of four brothers.

Joe and Simon Bird performed in House of Windsor and were both in the Cambridge Footlights. Joe and his writing partner Jonny Sweet, whom he met during his Cambridge years, performed together on the Project V^[2] – an internet comedy show.

He staged along with Simon in his first hour-long comedy show at the Edinburgh Festival in 2006 and this staged received excellent reviews.

He studied in Cambridge alongside with his The Inbetweeners co-star Simon Bird. ^[3]
