Joe Swash

Joseph Swash (born 20 January 1982) is a British actor who plays Mickey Miller in the British television soap opera EastEnders. He is the older brother of Shana Swash, who played his on-screen little sister Demi Miller until July 2006. He is reportedly earning £150.000.

Joe was on Club Reps in 2002 getting kicked out of his apartment complex in Faliraki for setting off a fire extinguisher.
Swash studied at Highbury Grove school in Islington, and attended Anna Scher Theatre School, along with fellow EastEnders stars Natalie Cassidy (Sonia), James Alexandrou (Martin) and Brooke Kinsella (Kelly).
He made appearances in several television series such as Casualty, The South Bank Show, The Bill and Nickelodeon's LOL: Laugh Out Loud. He also appeared in the 1996 film The Adventures of Pinocchio.
He made his first appearance in EastEnders in April 2003 as a recurring character. He later became regular character when his on-screen Miller family arrived a year later. In 2005 his character was off screen for a while as the actor recovered from a severe case of meningitis.
On 16 June 2007, Swash's girlfriend Emma Sophocles gave birth to their first child, a boy named Harry Swash.[1] On 19 January 2008, it was announced that Swash had split from Sophocles.[2]
On 26th February 2008 it was announced that Joe Swash, along with the actor who plays his father in Eastenders, will both be written out in a "big explosive storyline".
