Joe Salem

Joe Salem was the head football coach at the University of Minnesota from 1979 to 1983. During his tenure there he compiled a 19-35-1 record. From 1975 to 1978, he served as the head coach at Northern Arizona University. Prior to this he served as the head football coach at the University of South Dakota. His overall record stands at 45-52-1, but it is plagued by a 1-9 season to start his career, and a 1-10 season to end his career.
