Joe Newton (born October 15, 1983 in Roseburg, Oregon) is an American football tight end for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League. He was originally signed by the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent in 2007. He played college football at Oregon State.

Newton was a May 2007 free agent signing of the National Football League Seattle Seahawks. On September 1, 2007, Newton was one of 21 players cut by the Seahawks to cut its roster limit to the reqired 53 man roster. But he was later signed to the Seahawks practice squad.
