Joe Friel

Joe Friel is an expert coach of multisport athletics. He is the author of The Triathlete's Training Bible and "Cycling Past 50". He coached Ryan Bolton, an Olympic athlete and the winner of the Ironman Triathlon. Friel uses the training philosophy of periodization developed by Tudor Bompa.
