Joseph 'Joe' Cooke (born 15 February 1955 in Dominica) is a retired Dominican[1] football player who spent his entire career in England. He began his career at Bradford City as a centre-forward, but was later converted into a central defender [2]. He also played for Peterborough United, Oxford United, Exeter, Rochdale and Wrexham. His sister is children's author Trish Cooke.
