Joseph Tarrod Bowden (born February 25, 1970 in Dallas, Texas) is a former American football linebacker who played 9 seasons in the NFL. He started for the Tennessee Titans in Super Bowl XXXIV.
Joe attended North Mesquite High School in Mesquite, Texas. He then attended the University of Oklahoma, gaining All-American honors as a senior. The Houston Oilers drafted in the 1992 NFL draft. He played five seasons with the Oilers, then made the move with the franchise to Tennessee in 1997.
He played three years with Tennessee, starting at outside linebacker for the Titans in Super Bowl XXXIV. He concluded his playing career with the Dallas Cowboys in 2000.
Joe is currenty at the University of Central Oklahoma as the secondary coach.
