Joe Ardinger is a notable assistant producer of the Don and Mike Show, with his primary duties being to screen the phone calls that the show receives. On 2008-01-25, CBS Radio announced The Joe Ardinger Show which is to air Saturdays 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. Ardinger's show replaces Tom Leykis who previously occupied that time slot.[1]

Joe started his career in radio in 1993, and has also worked with the Sports Junkies. He also plays guitar and has been a local solo artist in Washington D.C. for 25 years. Much in demand for his strong vocal ability, Joe is considered the strong favorite to be the Washington Nationals public address announcer for the new stadium opening in April, 2008.[citation needed] Known for his farcical British accent,in December, 2007, Joe will make his acting debut with a one man performance of "Hamlet". This production, at the breezeway theater in Fairfax Virginia sold out in less than a day.[citation needed]

Ardinger recently admitted on the air his difficulties with illiteracy over the years.
