Jodi Tymeson is the Iowa State Representative from the 73rd District. She has served in the Iowa House of Representatives since 2001. She received her BA from the University of Northern Iowa and her MPA from Drake University.
Tymeson currently serves on several committees in the Iowa House - the Education committee; the Ethics committee; the Government Oversight committee; the Labor committee; and the Veterans Affairs committee, where she is the ranking member.
Tymeson was re-elected in 2006 with 7,523 votes, defeating Democratic opponent Maxine Bussanmas. [1]
