Jochen Schmid (born August 16, 1963) is a former Grand Prix motorcycle road racer from Germany. His best year was in 1992 when he finished the season in seventh place in the 250cc world championship. Schmid competed in the World Superbike Championship from 1994 to 1997 and in 1999, taking two podiums at Hockenheim in 1995,
