[edit] About Me

Born April 25, 1990 in Oakland, California. I currently reside in Falls Church, Virginia with my family and attend the Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology, where I am a student systems administrator in the Computer Systems Lab.

I spend most of my time (outside of school and homework) Computer Programming and browsing the Internet. Right now, my primary programming language is PHP, as I am responsible for maintaining and expanding the TJ Intranet, which is written in PHP. I am familiar with and have used a number of other languages -- I'll update my userboxes to reflect this more accurately at some point.

I spend more time than I ought to perusing Wikipedia, though not nearly as much as I would like. My contributions to Wikipedia are shamefully sparse and insubstantial; I really need to remember WP:BOLD better. However, my lack of major edits is to some extent an effect of my editing style: I mainly make small, proofreading-type edits. I'm not too great at writing (computer languages are logical; English is much less so), so I prefer to focus on modifying existing content. In most of my edits, I'm trying improve readability by correcting confusing grammar, punctuation, and such.

[edit] Disclaimers and Such

As I mentioned above, I attend TJHSST, which is a conflict of interest. This is something of a quandary for me, as I feel most comfortable editing articles on familiar subjects, such as my school. If you check my contributions page, you'll probably notice that about half of my edits are to the TJ page. I try to stick to easily verifiable facts or basic proofreading-type edits; if I step over the line, please drop a note on my talk page. I know I'm treading a thin line here, and if I do go too far, I'd like to know so I can stop immediately.
