[edit] Marketing
Jobing.com's marketing strategies combine traditional media (broadcast, print, and online) and some non-traditional strategies. The most obvious being “Jobing Mobiles", participating employee vehicles are wrapped in a removable 3M vinyl wrapper in exchange for a monthly car allowance and coverage of fuel costs. [3]
The Company also acquired the naming rights to one of the largest venues in the Phoenix area.[4] Jobing.com Arena is the home of the National Hockey League’s (NHL) Phoenix Coyotes.
[edit] Company Culture
The organizational culture has been acknowledged with numerous awards, including the Best Places to Work Institute's "Best Companies to Work For" in 2004 and 2006.[5]. Jobing.com provides 100 hours of leadership development training for every employee. It has created an environment that encourages communication by providing low, open work areas. And it offers a variety of extra benefits to employees, including free soda and freshly-brewed Starbucks in the breakroom.[6] Employees are also encouraged to pursue their education; in 2005 Jobing.com implemented a tuition assistance program for employees at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Nearly one-third of Jobing.com employees are pursuing a degree under the program.[7] In addition, the company offers unique benefits such as their vehicle wrap program.

[edit] Company History
The concept of an online "employment community" with a specific focus on local recruiting was the vision of Jobing.com founder Aaron Matos.[8] At the time, Aaron was the director of human resources for a regional publishing/media company in Arizona. With many years of experience in the human resources profession, he was well aware of the fact that the success of an organization was directly dependent on hiring great people. From his experience, he also knew that recruiting local talent quickly and cost efficiently was a daunting task. In early 2000, the website was launched in Phoenix, Arizona and has grown by focusing on servicing local markets and aggressively marketing its services. The company expanded to serve Tucson, Arizona that same year.
A number of acquisitions followed, expanding Jobing.com beyond Arizona:[9][10]
