Aloha!
I'm a newbie to Wikipedia, at least as a contributor. My interests are mainly on cryptography and implementations thereof.
In my professional life I work as VP R&D for a company I co-founded called InformAsic. InformAsic is a fabless chip vendor and consultancy focusing in embedded systems security and ASIC-development. I also write about embedded security and hardware for some Swedish magazines. Additionally I have a small blog called Kryptoblog that tries to present news and developments in cryptography an IT-security in Swedish.
(It might not be a big surprise that I'm a Swedish citizen.)
Current activities here have been to try and add content/start pages for stream- and block ciphers. I'm also trying to do some cleanup, but due to my newbie-ness I guess I'm instead causing more need for cleanup. Recently I have been working on:
- Adding content to the empty page for the PANAMA cipher and hash function.
- Adding content to the empty page for the Snow (cipher) stream cipher.
- Adding content to the page for the Scream (cipher) stream cipher.
- Adding a small page about the SMS4 cipher in the WAPI standard.
- Fixing links and assorted small stuff on the Cryptography portal.
- Correcting small things, adding a bit of content etc for things like MUGI, CPRM here and there.
- Larger update to the ESTREAM page.
- I took the opportunity to create pages for the eSTREAM candidates that have been selected as Focus Phase 2 candidates. For the ones with pages I updated them to include information about their status as focus candidates. Someday when I get time I will try and expand all stubs I just created... Someday...
There is also an ongoing talk about adding info about legal status (patents, licenses) etc for all algorithms or not.
