We don't know how *old* Joanne is? Someone's got to know ...

[edit] information content
Hi there,
I'd like to complain about the article. Unfortunately, I don't have any further information, so I can't add the stuff, I'd like to see here:
As the Europe VJ with MTV from 2000 to 2004, her top-rated shows reached 124 million households in more than 50 countries and territories.
- That would be which MTV? Not MTV Central is it? According to http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/MTV_Networks_Europe there are 13 regional MTV stations in Europe. What do you mean by reached 124 millions households? That's not viewers, is it? Wouldn't it be much more interesting to know the number of viwers? And what about this countries and territories. What's that saying?
She scripted, co-produced and hosted MTV News, Top 20 Countdown and MTV Movie Special.
- That's not MTV Central again, is it?
Colan is currently the host of the travel adventure series Any Given Latitude
- Do we know when this started? I find currently quite vague.
What Satellite UK & Europe TV Poll
- I googled for it. Are you sure that's the official name?

- There may be 13 MTV stations in Europe today, but there hasn't always been. I live in Norway, and there wasn't a norwegian MTV station until less than a year ago. Earlier there was MTV Nordic, which aired shows with nordic and british VJ's, Colan one of them. 84.208.77.175 23:11, 16 August 2006 (UTC)

- I think german MTV (MTV central) started in 1999. But I haven't seen a list of MTVs regional stations anywhere, and not on wikipedia. (But I've mainly been searching on wikipedia, so there might be a good list somewhere.) Anyways, I'd still be interested in where one could see her. I've always thought that around 2000 there were MTV central and MTV (for the rest of Europe). Now, you're letting me know that even back then, we had a MTV Nordic, so there might have been several more. JanCK 23:22, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] References?
I have removed "Colan's move to new media comes at a time when shows such as Rocketboom are attracting record levels of attention away from traditional media.[1]" because it was a statement without a real reference. The BBC article had nothing to do with Colan herself. Also, the leftover two references are to Rocketboom and her LinkedIn profile, can someone find a reliable third party article to give this entry reliable references?
