Talk:Joan Bakewell

The comment below may seem a bit subjective, but it gets to certain truths about this character.
J.B. is an intelligent and attractive broadcaster with a very pleasant voice. She has narrated and presented many BBC programs because of these characteristics. She started off in the late 1960's on TV and appeared somewhat naive and overly posh at first; but she then gradually matured to be a consumate TV program presenter. I first saw her in Under the Microscope and she was good at asking the right questions. One of the guests of the program was Richard Dawkins.
What did she actually study at Cambridge - was it journalism? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.159.114.141 (talk) 14:33, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
