Joanne Rossi (originally played by Allison McKenzie now played by Lisa Gardner) is a fictional character in the BBC Scotland soap, River City.
Joanne is Gina Buchanan's and the late Franco Rossi Sr.'s daughter and Ruth Green's sister. She is also mother of Franco Jr. and Romeo. Joanne previously worked with her then partner Billy Davies at the Moda Vida salon, but has since run away from Sheildinch with Luca Rossi, Romeo's father. Joanne Rossi returned to River City at Christmas played by Lisa Gardner Since returning she has shown a more cruel side such as telling Ruth and Malcolm that Liz killed Archie.
