Joanne McCarthy (b. October 26, 1974) is former female professional basketball player. She set the University of Illinois-Chicago career scoring and assists records in 1997.[2] These records still both stood as of 2007.[3] She was drafted with the first pick of the fifth round of the 1998 American Basketball League draft by the Chicago Condors.[4] She played for the Condors during the 1998 season.[5] She is the sister of Jenny McCarthy and Amy McCarthy as well as the cousin of Melissa McCarthy.
