Joanna Seybert

Joanna Seybert (b. 1946, Brooklyn, New York) is a federal judge for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Judge Seybert received a B.A. from the University of Cincinnati in 1967 and a J.D. from St. John's University School of Law in 1971. She was nominated to the court by President Bill Clinton on September 24, 1993, to a new seat created by 104 Stat. 5089, confirmed by the Senate on November 20, 1993, and received her commission on November 24, 1993.
