Joanna Poyago-Theotoky

Joanna Poyago-Theotoky is Professor of Microeconomics in the Department of Economics at Loughborough University

She has previously held positions at the University of St Andrews, University of Nottingham and University of Bristol.

Her research interests lie in the areas of Industrial organization (especially Technological innovation , R&D cooperation and research joint ventures, technology and environmental policies); applied microeconomic theory and the economics of science and knowledge transfer.

She has published a range of papers including articles in the following Journals.

Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization Journal of Industrial Economics, International Journal of Industrial Organization Review of Industrial Organization Journal of Regulatory Economics Journal of Comparative Economics Regional Science and Urban Economics and the Oxford Review of Economic Policy.

She is a keen photographer and animal lover who enjoys skiing and sailing.
