Joanna Higson (born 29 May 1983 in Horwich) is an English actress currently appearing in the comedy sketch show series Scallywagga on BBC Three.

Higson attended the University of Salford in Salford, where she gained a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree (BA (Hons) in Media and Performance (First Class) in 2006.[1]

In 2007 Higson appeared in an episode of The Street. [2] On 22 January 2007 she appeared in an episode of The Afternoon Play on BBC One entitled, Johnny Shakespeare. She also appeared in the pilot episode of Scallwagga when the series was titled Spacehopper. She played Amy Osbourne in Cold Blood in June 2007 and also in Cold Blood 5: The Last Hurrah on 3 January 2008.[3] From April to June 2008, Higson appears in the comedy sketch show series Scallywagga on BBC Three.[4] One of the characters she plays in the show is "Greggs Girl".[5].[6]
