Joanna Gosling

Joanna Gosling is a presenter and journalist on UK rolling news channel BBC News. She was educated at Aylesbury High School in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire and at the University of London.

Joanna regularly presents the news alongside Ben Brown on the 7pm-10pm slot Monday to Thursday, which until February 2008 included the programme News 24 Tonight. She had previously held this position with Chris Lowe on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings as well as at other times. Before working with Chris she had worked on the 9-1 morning shift with Ben Geoghegan and then Phillip Hayton. In summer 2006 she also appeared as an occasional presenter on BBC Breakfast. She has been with the BBC since 1999 when she joined from Sky News.

Joanna has appeared on the BBC One out-take show Auntie's Bloomers after forgetting the name of her co-presenter Julian Worricker.

Joanna has recently returned to presenting the rolling BBC News channel following a brief absence taking maternity leave.
