Joanna Connor

Joanna Connor (born August 31, 1962) is a Chicago-based blues singer/songwriter/guitarist.

Born in Brooklyn, NY in 1962, Joanna was drawn to the Chicago blues scene in the early 1980s, eventually sharing the stage with veteran blues musicians James Cotton, Junior Wells, Buddy Guy, and A.C. Reed. By 1987 she had started her own band, and recorded her first album for Blind Pig Records in 1989.
