Joan Kiddell-Monroe

Joan Kiddell-Monroe (August 9, 1908 in Clacton-on-Sea, England; died 1972) was a British-born author and illustrator of children's books (most notably for Ladybird Books and a series of Folk Tales from around the World). She married Webster Muarry, a Canadian-illustrator who died 1957. She lived the later years of her life in Majorca.
