Joakim Sjöhage is a Swedish footballer who's currently playing for the Swedish club Elfsborg. He is on loan from SK Brann.

Sjöhage started his career in the Swedish club IF Elfsborg where he won the Swedish Premier League in 2006 and Supercupen in 2007. He was a regular on the team that won the Premiership-gold, but in the 2007, Elfsborg bought in new strikers and went over to using a one-striker-formation, thus making it hard for Sjöhage to retain a spot on the team.

On July 3, it was reported that Norwegian Premier League title contenders Brann were interested in his signature[2]. He signed a 3.5 year deal with Brann on July 4, 2007.[3]

He got his debut for Brann on July 29, 2007, when he got a couple of minutes against Strømsgodset IF in the Norwegian Premier League[4].

He struggled to get a regular place in Mons Ivar Mjeldes first eleven, finding himself fourth in line for a starting position after international strikers Thorstein Helstad, Robbie Winters and Ármann Smári Björnsson, even after Bengt Sæternes left for the danish team Odense BK[5].

In 2008, he returned in frustration to his old team Elfsborg. The deal is a loan for the 2008 season, with an option to make the move permanent.
