Joachim Friedrich von Blumenthal

Joachim Friedrich von Blumenthal (1609 – 1657) was a German nobleman and an organizer of the early Brandenburg-Prussian Army. He was a War Commissar, as well as at the Imperial Diet. He was, additionally, the Great Elector's President of the Privy Council (Prime Minister) and the first secular governor of the Principality of Halberstadt.
