Jo Seung-woo (b. February 12, 1980) is a South Korean actor and musical star best known for his roles in Marathon (film) and Tazza: The High Rollers.

Protestant Jo who graduated from the university of Dankook has the nickname "old man" indicative of his maturity and considerate nature. Being 5’6’’(172cm) weighing 137lbs (62kg) he is considered a heartthrob in Korea. He began his career 1999 with the movie "Chunhyang" by director Im Kwon-taek. Since then he has played both tough guys and tender types and starred in musicals.
