[edit] Barack Obama
Hi Jo9100. I noticed your comment at Talk:Barack Obama here. While I generally agree with your opinion of Obama, please note that Wikipedia is not a soapbox or a vehicle for promotion, including article talk pages. Thanks. · j e r s y k o talk · 05:46, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] 2007 Stanley Cup Playoffs
Hello. I saw that you tried to start to add images of each of the team's logos and the Eastern and Western Conference logos. This was done last year, but if you look at the article from last season's playoffs, it was eventually reverted and removed since these logos are used under a presumption of fair use. Using the logos on the Stanley Cup Playoffs page is simply decorative, therefore we cannot use the logos anywhere except for the team pages. I hope this helps so you don't have to see your hard work reverted due to a technicality. Thanks! --Sukh17 T • C • E 01:05, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] family guy template
the changes you are doing aren't necessary as the template just adds confusion as noone can even tell what the episodes are by just their total number.
Please stop adding this template and if you wish to implement something like this please start a discussion. But currently you can navigate the entire season from the current episode page. If you need ever episode at your access you can just use the listGrande13
-
- its an unnecessary template that just weighs down the page. They are already trying to remove all tv shows listings from wikipedia and this template isnt helping. There already is ample episode navigation for family guy with the current season episodes being listed on each episode page. If someone wanted to navigate the entire season they can go to the main listings page, otherwise there wouldnt even be a point to that page. Just because its agreed upon by one article (Futurama) doesnt necessarily make it needed for others. Grande13

-
- listing them just by numbers is sort of pointless and doesnt even look that great. Plus it really adds nothing, as if you noticed there is a season navigation tool on each episode page that can take to you the episodes for each season. This is something Futurama lacks making it at least a little more meaningful to have your navigation template there, but here its not needed. I will keep changing to normal til you get consensus. Otherwise go to another article Grande13

[edit] Replaceable fair use Image:Katemara.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Katemara.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
- On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that fair use images which could be replaced by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted 7 days after this notification, per our Fair Use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Yamla 23:13, 29 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Speedy deletion of Jonathan Allard
A tag has been placed on Jonathan Allard, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD A7.
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. Ridernyc 10:35, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
