João Pereira, fullname João Pedro da Silva Pereira (born February 25, 1984 in Lisbon), is a Portuguese football (soccer) player who currently plays for Portuguese side SC Braga.
He was part of the Benfica squad that won the Portuguese championship in 2005 as a starter, until a fallout with coach Ronald Koeman relegated him to the bench. He was sold to Gil Vicente FC after a loan to the same team and, a year later moved again, this time to SC Braga.
He is also known for his fiery temperament, that leads to altercations with adversary players numerous times.
