From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

My desire is to aid Wikipedia in strengthening the entries of painters and sculptors. I also busy myself reverting vandalism, linkspam, original research, and commercial promotion, in part to pass idle hours, and because the construction and preservation of a shared endeavor is a worthy concept. Like everyone else who uses the site, I make errors. It is expected that my contributions will receive the attention of better writers and editors. I paint, teach, and once, when very young, edited a small newsmagazine.

I greatly enjoy making small contributions to the stew, and enjoy, also, the good work of others in the visual arts, whose labors I have noticed for months (and in no particular order): Outriggr, Modernist, ewulp, Johnbod, CARAVAGGISTI, Etacar11, Wetman, Tyrenius, Sparkit, Attilios, Ceoil, Freshacconci, and Amandajm, to name but a few. If it is implicit that one writes for a small and select audience, then it is these editors I often have in mind. It is clear that you care about the entries to which you contribute.

The images which adorn this page are not linked to any of the sites that display or sell my work. They make reference to my extra-wikial life as painter and teacher. Existing on my user page, I assume that they are viewed by few. The benefits I have enjoyed from their inclusion amount to several pleasant comments from fellow editors, which have been greatly appreciated.
