I was introduced to Rada Cutlery over 35 years ago, when I got married. My husband is from Louisiana where cooking is a way of life and a lot of time is spent in the kitchen. His grandmother sold Rada knives to raise money for her church and she gave us a set. At that time, the only way you could buy Rada knives was through someone who was selling them for a charitable organization.

Occasionally I would try a different knife, but I have never found one that could compare to a Rada knife. These knives seem to last forever. I am still using some of the original ones. I got several sets from my husbands grandmother and hid them away for the future. My children were raised using these knives and one day they discovered my little stash of knives. You would have thought it was Christmas in July. Needless to say, my knives disappeared. That put me on a quest to find a place to buy these knives. My husbands grandmother had long since passed away. After a little research, I discovered that Rada Cutlery now sells to the general public and also has a program for resellers. JMG Outlet was born!

I am such a firm believer in these knives that I decided to develop a website to resell them, for two reasons. First, the obvious, to make a little extra income, but more importantly, to share these products with others. Rada does not do a lot of advertising. The product sells itself, but since the name is not as well known as some of the "big boys", it's my way of letting the world know that they are out there.
