User talk:Jmath666/Conditional probability and expectation

My instantaneous gut response when I saw this was to think we should set most of the inline TeX in \scriptstyle and change some of it to non-TeX notation. Then I notice who's user page this is a subpage of and realized maybe he would oppose that. (Actually, I don't know (yet) who he is outside of Wikipedia---that's another matter.) - Hi Michael. This page is translated from the LaTeX original by the script I wrote. So any edits should be done in the latex source because otherwise they will be lost in the next translation. I have posted my current source as tex and bbl.
- Yes we communicated on the scriptstyle issue before. The translation script can be set to emit into wikicode anything you want, even that \scriptstyle, but I think that would be a bad idea. You know my POV has been that the details of rendering should be left on the engine and user settings. Why mess up perfectly good and logical wikisource for questionable gains in rendering, the rendering should be fixed instead, much like the rest of the world aside from wikimedia has done already. Once the rendering gets done right is there going to be a wikiproject to fix up all the math articles with mangled wikisource?
- If you have something on the math and how to make the exposition better, I would like to hear it. This is a bit counterintuitive subject. You are welcome to edit the latex source if you like and/or translate and update by it the wiki page.It has been possible to find my real life identity on Wikipedia with a bit of digging, for example the wikiproject list.
