[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:HeyYoHall.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:HeyYoHall.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Thank you. JesseW, the juggling janitor 07:03, 9 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image:StrikerTHETeacher.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:StrikerTHETeacher.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Yamla 17:38, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Uncited page

Welcome to Wikipedia! We could really use your help to create new content, but your recent additions (such as I Love WWE) are considered nonsense. Please refrain from creating nonsense articles. If you want to test things out, edit the sandbox instead. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. [edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:CrymeTyme.JPG)

Thanks for uploading Image:CrymeTyme.JPG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. [edit] Your page move

[edit] April 2007

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. However, articles should not be moved, as you did to Cryme Tyme, without good reason. They need to have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. We have some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Bmg916SpeakSign 17:08, 2 April 2007 (UTC)

Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow or move it unilaterally while discussion about it is underway, as you did to Virginia Tech massacre. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Thank you. Natalie 02:32, 22 April 2007 (UTC)

Please stop. If you continue to move pages to bad titles or before discussions about the title have ended, as you did to Daniel Rodimer, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Natalie 02:39, 22 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] May 2007

This is your last warning. The next time you move a page maliciously, as you did to Daniel Rodimer, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Bmg916SpeakSign 03:36, 8 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] 12 May 2007

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism and are immediately reverted. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. Thank you. McPhail 14:25, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Warning

THis is a warning. Next time you go on a page moving spree, you will most likley be temporarily blocked. Please propose page moves using the {{moveto}} template on the articles talk page. Then, please allow time for discourse and then if there is a consensus to move, then move the article. Moving mass numbers of articles against consensus is disruptive and may result in a temporary block. -- Chrislk02 (Chris Kreider) 12:08, 14 May 2007 (UTC)

Since you haven't seemed to have heeded any advice or warnings here on your talk page, I have reported you to the administrative group for review of your constant page moves that violate Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for page moves. I suggest that if you are blocked you consider modifying your behavior if/when the block expires. Bmg916SpeakSign 21:15, 20 May 2007 (UTC)
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for disruptive page moves. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below.

[edit] You have been blocked indefinitely

You apparently aren't going to learn that you can't do page moves without consensus. --WoohookittyWoohoo! 16:08, 15 June 2007 (UTC)
